Treading the Borders is a newly formed professional theatre company that aims to provide productions of the highest quality with thematic material that is entertaining, informative and relevant to modern living. While some plays may be written by internationally recognised writers the Company is also creating relationships with local writers to inspire new work for the stage in a process that is enduring and supportive.
With a policy of inclusion and accessibility we are also developing connections with schools and other community groups as well as taking theatre to places of historic
interest and venues that provide new experiences for an evening of entertainment. There is a wealth of talent in the Scottish Borders, some stunning buildings in beautiful locations, dynamic and vibrant communities ... these are all points of reference that Treading the Borders wishes to celebrate.
