Quotes from STEP UP mentors:
Raising my awareness of how I operate as a manager was really really enlightening. I've found myself using the skills I learnt as a mentor almost every day in my work and personal life - it's given me much more confidence in dealing with numerous things.
Helping another person is always rewarding, but helping them discover they already had the solution at their fingertips is even more so.
Quotes from a STEP UP mentee:
Speaking with an experienced person removed from my own workplace has helped me gain perspective on issues and consider fresh solutions that I might not have otherwise.
How do I apply?
Simply visit the FST website www.scottishtheatre.org and complete and return the application by Monday 9th August. Successful applicants will be notified a week later and invited to attend the first training day on 7th October.
Who’s behind STEP UP?
STEP UP has been devised by Executive Coach and Artistic Director, Paul Pinson and arts consultants, Abigail Carney and Jane Hogg. Abigail is project managing, recruiting and matching mentors with mentees, Paul is leading on the training, supervision support, and review mentor / mentee matches, and Jane is undertaking the evaluation.
STEP UP 3 is the third coaching and mentoring programme to be supported and hosted by FST and funded by Creative Scotland. STEP UP 1 was launched in June 2008.

As a multi-media and creative company Enterprise Screen is keen to broaden our work with charities and non-profit organisations.
