FST Mentoring Programme Seeking Mentees Thursday, 29 October 2009
The programme is called Step Up and aims to increase the capacity and skills of practitioners in junior and middle management, particularly the case for those recently promoted to new, more senior posts and / or running new projects.
In confidential sessions mentees will be able to ‘think aloud’ and talk through strategies to reach new understandings and insights into their situation. In addition, specific expertise and experience is available from mentors to accelerate acquisition of essential knowledge and skills, for example, in undertaking a new role, and / or fulfilling a project or task.

• to have the support of their employer / manager
• to be available to meet six to eight times from January - November 2010
• willing to travel to their mentor’s location and cover their own travel costs
• to be a member, or want to join, FST

Latest Events & NewsFree Filming Offer from Enterprise Screen
Non-Profit Film Offer
As a multi-media and creative company Enterprise Screen is keen to broaden our work with charities and non-profit organisations. Until the end of September 2010, ESP are offering the chance to create a short film-product that can be used in a variety of settings with no charge for filming or pre-production.
We would welcome the opportunity to hear if you have any ideas of how this special offer could work for your organisation. It may be useful to consider a film to further the campaign for funds and support, inform service users and groups, lobby elected members or simply celebrate some of the successes of the past year. We are very experienced in covering live events, presentations and campaigns as well as making short, informative and engaging films for web, presentation and DVD use.
We work with many similar organisations currently and are experienced in bringing out the essence of what makes a charity special.
