Playwights Studio, ScotlandPLAYWRIGHTS' STUDIO DISCUSSION PROGRAMME

Join Playwrights' Studio, Scotland to explore, uncover and consider what stimulates the artists behind this year's Made in Scotland programme. These conversations will poke about in the recesses and pan out over the landscape of the showcase connecting you with the artists involved.

Laws of Nature
Linda McLean is joined by Ros Philips (One Million Tiny Plays About Britain) and Lu Kemp (One Thousand Paper Cranes) to look at how their work in some way deals with eternal (sometime unknowable) laws of nature.

Intimate
Jo Clifford talks to LJ Findlay-Walsh (May I have the Pleasure?) and Eilidh MacAskill (Alma Mater) about the intriguing and intimate nature of work for a single audience member.

Sunday 21st August, 11am – 12.30pm, Lecture Theatre 2

Dance in Scotland
David Hughes (Last Orders) chairs Janet Smith (Matters of the Heart), Agnes Ness (The Dance Studio), Morag Deyes and Vicky Rutherford (dancebase) and Gareth Vile (The Skinny) as they discuss the growing dynamism of Scotland's dancers and choreographers.

Teenage Kicks
David Greig (The Monster in the Hall) and Paddy Cunneen (Fleeto and Wee Andy) are joined by Francesca Lacey and Jess Thorpe (I Hope My Heart Goes First) to explore the portrayal of young people in this year's shows.

Foreign
