Federation of Scottish Theatre

Membership of the Federation of Scottish Theatre is open to professional theatre and dance companies working within Scotland and to those who work within and support the theatre and dance communites. There are three categories for membership of the FST. To view a list of current members click on the links below.

FULL membership is open to professional theatre companies based in or working in Scotland.

ASSOCIATE members include drama conservatoires, promoters’ networks and local authority venues.

INDIVIDUAL membership is available to those who have an interest in the sector, the work of the Federation or its members.
Services for members include:

A public affairs and communications strategy for the sector

  • Quarterly Members’ Meetings and the opportunity to participate in issue based working groups
  • The Federation of Scottish Theatre/ Scottish Society of Playwrights minimum terms agreement
  • Regular FST events
  • Continued professional development opportunities
  • Major industry events such as the Annual Conference
  • A monthly e-newsletter Update
  • Briefing evenings and papers on current issues
  • Memberships and links to a variety of national and international bodies
  • Access to the members only area of www.scottishtheatre.org

Horsecross Arts is offering a Fellowship to a musician from an ethnic minority background who is resident in Scotland and can demonstrate significant achievement, proven excellence, ambition and vision. The Fellowship includes an opportunity to realise a project which could only take place using the facilities, services and support of Horsecross Arts. It may include collaborations with digital arts or drama and contribute to our creative learning programme.
