Music Fellowship - Horsecross Arts

Horsecross Arts is offering a Fellowship to a musician from an ethnic minority background who is resident in Scotland and can demonstrate significant achievement, proven excellence, ambition and vision. The Fellowship includes an opportunity to realise a project which could only take place using the facilities, services and support of Horsecross Arts. It may include collaborations with digital arts or drama and contribute to our creative learning programme. As well as offering the artist the benefit of working within an award winning organisation, the Fellowship will challenge the artist to create new work and develop new audiences.

The Scottish Arts Council IETM Project seeks an experienced and efficient Marketing and Press Officer to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of press and marketing of the Glasgow IETM Plenary Meeting.
Fee £21,000.00 including VAT. Payments for the project will be by monthly invoice to the Scottish Arts Council care of Tactical Arts with a final payment linked to the conclusion of the programme.
The fee is based on 140 Days @ £150.00 per Day.
Flexibility in working arrangements and some late / unsocial working hours will be anticipated. The project office will be based in the Centre For Contemporary Arts in Glasgow.

plan B is a creative performing arts company based in the Highlands and directed by award-winning choreographer, Frank McConnell. We have a passion for exploring new ways of creating and presenting dance and theatre, utilising the inherent capacity of the arts for transforming peoples’ lives and galvanising communities. Many of the company’s productions are created in isolated rural communities, but we are equally committed to both presenting the work and making connections both nationally and internationally.

The plan B Creative Labs are an opportunity for choreographers to explore new ideas, or take risks with new directions, or to engage with other artists in a supportive environment under the guidance of plan B’s artistic director, Frank McConnell. Although the labs can be challenging, they can often lead to surprising breakthroughs on the artistic journey.
